Because the request was a lie and you’re supposed to be a man of integrity, superior to leftists, muslims, somalis, and other delusiotards who try to convince themselves that they’re entitled to lie, cheat, and steal. You’re also supposed to have superior intelligence which allows you to picture the civilizing effect of widespread integrity, and which allows you to offer utility in the marketplace so that you’re not desperate enough to debase yourself like a leftist.
