A pardon might be granted but an admission of guilt must precede the granting of the pardon. Some J6ers refused pardons because they contend that they broke no laws.
Tina is a whistleblower, not a Federal lawbreaker. Federal whistleblower status should supersede her Colorado conviction because the Colorado officials are the bad actors and are presently wrongfully tormenting her in her incarceration.
Mike Davis Of Article III Project often refers to 18 U.S.C. Section 241, which pertains to conspiracies to deprive individuals of their constitutional rights. I think she would be considered a legitimately aggrieved party under this statute, even as Trump is.
She is under judgement by the State.
The request for pardon submitted by Ticktin lays out why they could legally justify having Trump issue a pardon for a state case. I didn’t read the whole thing but what I did read was pretty compelling, imo.
