Previously you will remember Trump laying into Massie - and I suggested this is deliberate separation so Massie can agitate for certain issues Trump does not want to be linked to, but which can be useful to Trump. Previously Epstien but now concerning NATO Trump can say, oh look, I have political pressure from 'enemies' in my own party who are popular, to withdraw from Nato. Maybe you should stop being an expensive irritant and do what I say?
