Now that it is a known fact that Egyptian plane was shadowing Erica. Why no one asks her about it. She doesn't seem to be bothered by a foreign registered plane following her.

That tells me she knew. It is an asset at her disposal when the need arose. Her personal bugout plane. Who the he'll does she work for?
