I normally wouldn't make a post about anything personal but a lot has gone on.
My wife's grandfather just passed away a few days ago. Just tonight, the daughter of a close family friend called because her mother wasn't responding. My parents found the friend unresponsive and called 911. My dad tried chest compressions, as directed, until the EMS got there but they couldn't revive her.
My dad came back and told me that my mom was experiencing chest pains so they took her to the hospital.
What's more, this is all happening while my wife and I were already under financial pressure while trying to get our own businesses going.
Please pray for my mother, the family of our close friend, and comfort for all involved. Please also pray for financial breakthrough so that we can more easily face challenges we're facing in our own lives.
Just asked and got an update from my Dad. My Mom is doing okay but they're still hooking her up to monitors.
The family friend was like a sister to my Mom and the friend was often included in family activities because her own family doesn't live in the area. I think it might have been the shock of the situation that hit my Mom.
That had to have been an incredibly hard thing for your parents to have experienced. I am so sorry that her friend did not make it.
Dear Lord, please do not let the "what if's" and "if only's" haunt Rando's Mom & Dad. Comfort them & all who loved this woman. Amen.
