I think you are totally on target.

What I am looking for now is what we in NZ will get for our very own version. Xmas parade murders? A shooting on Oriental Bay beach in Welly? Or another pretend Mosque shoot up? Will they be so obvious as to do it on the ides of march again?

Sadly until the evil in the US is fully exposed and broken - I don't see any hope for an awakening in either of our two formerly freedom loving nations down under.
