I always stay away from crowds near holidays. I once got stuck in a shopping center parking lot in Raleigh, NC a few years ago. Never again. Presents were bought, mostly online, a long time ago. We always keep food. In fact, our church has a "blessing box," and we took some extras to church this morning. I've been prepared since 1999. I knew Biden was going to cause prices to rise, so I stocked up extra right after the election. Butter more than doubled in price, but I still have $2 butter.
BTW, what's causing your alarm? I haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary, at least compared to the last dozen years.
