Yes, heard that as well. If he was a muslim he would have been yelling "my turn, my turn" as he grabbed the gun.
I saw his family on the news, they were all wearing hijabs and directly said Ahmed is sunni muslim. He's Syrian from Idlib, that city is like 99.9% Sunni and the few hundred christians that lived there moved a long time ago due to the civil war.
Why would President Trump say he was a Muslim if he's not? I'd think his info on this would be a bit better than wherever various random people online are getting theirs.
There is no mention of any religious affiliation in Trump's speech about that man.

Ok, this is just funny. To be clear, I don't care about upvotes and down votes and all of that, for the most part. I'll upvote a comment if I think someone made a good post, to show support. I don't get upset when people downvote me, because really, what does it matter in the long run?
But stuff like this just makes me laugh. Seriously. I upset someone in another chat and they've retaliated by going through all of my recent posts and down voting them.
Including one where I freely admitted I was wrong about something.
