Your take seems to me to be a passive-aggressive jab towards Trump's administration. Poor poor Bongino, there's nothing he can do against evil Trump and evil Q who are making him lie.

He didn't say why he's leaving. If you like Bongino, painting him as an emotionally unstable individual who is incompetent at his job because performing his job makes him want to break down in tears isn't doing him any favors.
