It's been a long time ago but a mod did say that in the thread, that's why it was stickied.
I'm not sure that mods research every post before a sticky, that would take forever. It's our job to do that. They sticky stuff that is worthy of looking into, whichever way the research goes from there. It's about putting eyes on it and letting Anons do their thing.
We obviously see this from two different points of view and I'm not trying to change your mind, only look at it through a different lens. We're in it together. It doesn't all rest solely on the mods to research every post. They are volunteers btw, just like the rest of us. Paid shills excluded.
