Any village or town living near a dam that produces hydroelectric power is also in the crosshairs for a giant warehouse with fire-walls - they are hungry for water for cooling, and power. but many companies will turn to their own private reactors.

Further to that: Any company "installing AI" and firing employees pre-emptively, 'cos AI is the future', are p*ssing into the wind. Most AI-projects fail. Only the giant-est, like ChatGPT and Grok, for example, can actually function. AI needs millions of inputs, oh and teams of mods/programmers BTW (at a loss, none have turned a profit), to become half-way decent. One guy loading legislation into the bot, and processing some customer questions, ain't gunna work. < Here-in lies the AI-bubble that is about to collapse spectacularly.

When the company bot does not work, and google does a better job, then policy will have to be re-thunk. And many executives are not facing facts yet: they are still in the "let's replace customer service with bots" loop. It's a disaster, that just around the corner.
