Can someone explain to me like I’m 5 years old why a nation that is $38.5 trillion in debt is giving foreign aid and paying $968 billion a year to protect European nations? The USA should take that money back home and leave NATO. (media.scored.co)

Why?

Trump is right. America should take steps to secure the Western Hemisphere. We should ally with Russia, and let Europe strangle itself with corruption and incompetence.

Edit:

We should keep our bases on US territories, Subik, Rosy Roads, etc. Our fleets can keep the seas safe for us and provide initial projections of power if/when needed.
