I've often thought there's no way to fix this unless the people revolt, and that would certainly bring in the military. That slippery slope no one wants to ride down. But patience has an end, and the prospect of losing is the unthinkable. The one thing that would unite and solidify is Equal Justice. To know that the words are not just rhetoric and the Constitution and its law, the statutes are not just words on worthless paper.. 100s of thousands of indictments and low hanging fruit isn't getting it done. Throwing the dogs some bones is only pissing people off. The Paper Tiger looks rediculous.
