The poorly trained by the media act like it's a privilege to be white. Like doors open or us, kinda like if you are a black basketball player or a black football player. You are "privileged" and can't speak about anything because you don't know what it's like to be minimized and a minority. Kind of like when Pollack jokes were a thing, and I'm Polish. Or blond jokes, and I'm blond. But I wouldn't know anything about what THEY go through... not because I could barely scrape together a dollar for a dollar movie, had to pay back all my loans myself, buy a car and house without any sort of privilege dollars given to me, and basically built a life and a family without help except for my own blood, sweat and tears, and my marriage.

I am not ashamed to be white, Polish, or blond. I have been ashamed of Polish and blond, but I was young and have learned from it. I am proud to be white!!!! I am proud of my ancestors, my family, and my heritage. No excuses. We aren't victims, and neither is anyone else. I'm over it. So over it.
