Silver batteries in my opinion are awesome and better than lithium for sure.
China is not dumb. They are a huge country with much resources. They control the majority of lithium and about half of silver production via their internal country and Australia. Mexico is the largest in the world for silver which is USA's neighbor.
EV's are made with Lithium and I will never buy one of those. I prefer oil. Oil is a natural resource. it is THE natural resource for the world to function.
China wants to control the world. They have proclaimed that over the years. Controlling the world is controlling climate change and EV's with Lithium batteries.
Now they are seeing silver batteries coming on the market from Samsung. Samsung is South Korea not China. Plus Samsung will allow Elon and others to build their own silver batteries and such with patents and/or new pattens for silver batteries will emerge.
It is Chinese interest to cause silver to sky rocket in an attempt to create it impossible to sell silver batteries to the public. So for a time we will benefit from this and it may very well stick to in the long run of psychology for silver and gold prices.
If you were in the market to buy an EV and you see two of them and one is 10 dollars and the other is 50 dollars. Which one would you buy? I know you would buy the one with the silver battery, but normal people will not. They will see two EV's with the exact same specs and buy the cheaper one and just like the war with VHS and Beta Cassettes the one who wins will be the cheaper one.
People who buy EV are not your normal consumer,they will look at the convenience of silver batteries and their long life in many/ most cases. Just like people want to have the best phone,many will want the best battery for it as well.
yes. but competitively they will be priced similar. What we are seeing is some huge manipulation going on that is bigger than those brothers did. One aspect is war is coming and another is control over products.
even during wars there is a population and a market. People will still be going to school and to the stores and such. The war this time is going to be at the door steps of the USA and UK at the same time though. WW3

McDonalds is selling a double-cheese burger for .99 cents and Burger King is selling a double-cheese burger for 29.99. Both have the same amount of calories and in all sense both do the same thing. Yet Burger King is adding silver to its recipe and McD is adding lithium.
Their goal is to manipulate the price so far apart that it is impossible for one to buy the 29.99 because you can buy so many McDonalds .99 cent versions.
The other way of viewing this is McDonalds can play with the numbers but Burger King cannot.
is that what is happening though? I do not know. Here what we used to do when I was a kid in grammar school. I would go buy tons of candy bars from 7-11 and during school I would sell them for 10 dollars a candy bar when I was buying them for .50 cents a candy bar. How did me and my friend do this? We took the risk to hide it from the teachers and we had the capital to buy a ton of candy. At school we were the only supplier so we could dictate what we wanted and no one could do anything about it. Then if another kid wanted to sell we would go in the back ground and narc on him. It is that simple at any level as long as you have the ability to do it.
I understand your point,but i don't think they are manipulating the price up. This has been building for years. The comex is running low on metal....
nice. my regret is not purchasing more, but I think that is everyones regret no matter how much they collected.
I question everything and I will always see something. it is either a blessing or a curse.. maybe both. Thru life it is normal for me.
usually I think of years in the future for some weird reason. Yet when things happen I will always be forgotten. Only one time when I was young someone remembered me making a weird thing years prior. Even I forgot, but she triggered my memory.
for me I will never sell anything I collected regardless. I collect for my kids and the hope I can help them and they thank me in the future. :)
