I'm catholic/baptist - i have celebrated Christ's birth and resurrection my entire life - 60 Christmas's today. It's the day designated to celebrate His birthday - not necessarily His birthday, since no one actually knows His true birthday.
I larp as knowing Jesus's birthday, it was Sat 6 Oct (Julian) 4 BC or 750 AUC at 3 a.m. aka Sabbath 15 Tishri 3758 aka 4 Oct (proleptic Gregorian). The first day of Tabernacles, when God tabernacled with us, in a manger that is the same Greek word as tabernacle.
My current position is that the Annunciation and Conception occurred on, and can be celebrated on, 25 Dec Julian and 23-25 Dec Gregorian (i.e., 2,029 years and 2 days ago).
