I wonder if this is why Trump is keenly exploring the viability of abolishing Income Tax, to safeguard the future. If IT was abolished, even if heaven forefend we ever got another Demonrat government, they wouldn't have a hope in Hell of trying to reinstate it as there would be all out revolution to stop it.
