Rome tried for 300 years to destroy Christianity without success. THe more persecuted the church was, the bigger it grew. So what did Satan do. he quit battling the church and joined the church making it the religion of the Roman Empire. What you cannot destroy without, you destroy within!
Do you read the Bible? Satan rules all the nations of the world. Rome worshiped the Sun god and the Emperor. Constantine who was Emperor and he ruled over the Pope. He wasn't even baptized until his death. Out from Constantine came many false doctrines.
Satan's plan was to pervert Christianity with false doctrines which began under Roman Catholicism and has continued until this day.
Most of what the Roman Catholic church is false doctrine. The Roman Catholic church killed more Christians through history than anybody else. The Crusades were part of the Roman Catholic history. The Catholic created a priesthood which Jesus destroyed through His sacrifice. (Rev:2-15 tells what Jesus thinks of Nicolaitans---Nico is to rule over and laity is the people---You don't need a priest to intercede for you. The sacraments are false doctrine. Christmas, Easter, Saints worship, Mary worship---all false doctrine. Do you read the Bible? 1Titus and 11Titus is all about doctrine.
