It’s the militancy shown by outspoken, radical LBGTQ+ that I can’t stand. Gays have been around forever and many have contributed greatly to society. Leonardo DiVinci for example. For the most part they let their talents speak for themselves as do most non- gays. As MLK would say, judged by the quality of their character. Perhaps, what I find so distasteful today is that the militants have few endearing qualities to define themselves by. Screaming, yelling, carrying signs and acting like freaks and morons is a sign of emotional and mental disorder that show the world they should be institutionalized, not celebrated. It has nothing to do with sexual preference and everything to do with mental illness demanding to be accepted as normal.
