I will not affiliate with false doctrine. The Mormons worship a different god than I do. They do not believe in the Trinity. They get their doctrine not from the Bible. The book of Revelation makes it quite clear.
Rev 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
Rev 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
Also Paul admonished believers---the church---Gal_1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
Didn't an angel reveal the Book of Mormon? Maybe the same angel that revealed the Book of Islam?
Mormon teaching:
Like many Christians, we believe in God the Father, His Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. However, we don’t believe in the traditional concept of the Trinity. We believe that the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost are three separate beings who are one in purpose.
Jesus said He and the Father are ONE. One being. Not 3 different beings.
Jhn_10:30 I and my Father are one.
Jhn_17:22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
False doctrine and I will not even open the door those that profess it.
I could be wrong, but it seems you have already let the enemy win by dividing individuals who should be unified in saving our nation. I figure we can disagree on specific points, but we should be unified in putting America First (aka MAGA) and helping put those in place who could help Trump course correct this nation.
How do I reconcile John 10:30 with what you gave immediately after in John 17:22? By these scriptures alone it is clear that many individuals can be unified as one body, or different parts of the same body to fulfill different roles. They contradict each other & I appreciate you making my argument for me. Most Christians will only reference John 10:30 & leave out the greater context of being unified in John 17:22.
Please help me understand how I am supposed to be one in God, as Jesus is one if they are the same person. Jesus also prayed,
John 17:21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
John 17:21-22 from the Bible kills the notion of the trinity for me. No amount of twisting the bibles words can make me unsee that, though again I could be wrong.
I figure we are supposed to be unified in what God wants & to follow God as Jesus did. Jesus simply followed God perfectly & we can do our very best to follow him with the translations of books written by his followers at that time.
I can't find anywhere that Mormon taught:
Mormon teaching: Like many Christians, we believe in God the Father, His Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. However, we don’t believe in the traditional concept of the Trinity. We believe that the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost are three separate beings who are one in purpose.
Though the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints do claim what you posted above. Which is probably what you meant, though it isn't what was written.
Misunderstandings happen even with those trying their best to communicate what we have heard or seen.
I had never considered that the same angel could have revealed the books of Islam, I had always thought those were written by Mohammad. I should look deeper into this. That said, the Angel Moroni claimed to have hidden the records of his people. I don't know what angel visited Mohammad (or any) or if there was one, what that angel claimed.
It is pretty clear to me that some things have been removed. Satan clearly wants to confuse those who want to do their best to follow God. We clearly see many today who worship Satan & have infiltrated all levels of government and even Christianity. Is it really too hard to believe that they wouldn't care about Rev 22:19?
Also how much of the Bible was removed during that council of Nicea & was it parts that should have been removed? Possibly, they may have removed the parts that were warned about in Rev 22:18. I really don't know with 100% assurance, then again I doubt anyone knows with 100% certainty. This is likely why there are the varied orthodox faiths, as well as why the Catholics still have Aprophyca books in their Bible from my understanding.
In Gal 1:8 we are certainly taught that if any other gospel is taught we should not follow it. In my own study of scripture, it seems that the gospel has always taught of Jesus Christ as the Savior & I figure that any teachings that lead away from that are false. Again, maybe I am mistaken in that understanding.
Ultimately we need to do our best to follow God & let him guide our actions & hearts. As well we need to be unified in taking down these evil institutions in our government that has clearly been attacking Christianity.
If I am wrong, please pray for me however you feel I need to be prayed for. I appreciate your concern & your willingness to engage to try and help anyone who is seeking to understand truth better.
Q, of all things, has me to the point where I cannot ignore all the "coincidences" with logical thinking about my religious belief. I asked how many times do things align, before it is no longer a coincidence, with another testament of Jesus Christ. I cannot deny it because the odds are insurmountable from what I have looked at. Though I may be wrong & if anyone can course correct me, I hope that God will. I truly want him to prevail in my life & to guide me to the truth, which is how I ultimately ended up learning about Q & working towards helping the country be saved with our president at this time.
Hopefully we can both continue to search for truth, wherever we can find it, and share insights with anyone who is willing to listen. That is the only way I can see out of this mess we are all in globally.
Isa_45:22 Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.
Rev 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
Rev 1:11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.
Rev 1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
All the same being----ONE in three persons. Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
I respectfully disagree with this interpretation. The Bible seems pretty clear, to me at least, that they are not the same being but a father and a son.
Looking at those verses it has seemed to me that Jesus was there in the beginning, and will again be here at the end. Though I might be completely misinterpreting these.
Still if I am wrong, even if not, I appreciate any prayers to help me figure out the truth.
There are just too many coincidences for me to ignore as well. Though that is a completely different discussion.
I will keep you in my prayers that you can continue to help others find truth & continue to be blessed by God.
Jesus said, "I and the Father are one". The main reason the Jews wanted to kill Jesus is that he claimed to be the "I am" in the burning bush that spoke to Moses when He told them "before Abraham, I AM".
Just as a side note, at a human level we cannot fully grasp a dimensional being that lives in at least 11 dimensions. Just in the three and a half dimensions I live in I am a father and also a son and a husband and an uncle and a grandfather.
