Whether one bows ones head, stands or lays, for that matter, has no bearing on the intention of the request. Nor would it change an ask for 'intercession' into a 'prayer'.
What is in ones heart dictates the intention.
Let me ask; do you have any doubt that God knows what's in my heart?
If I were to fumble my words or be unable to verbalize my desire in a certain way, would God be able to tell the difference between I asking for intercession or warship?
If my heart yearns for help and intercession yet my mouth betrays me, wouldn't my heart still be appealing to God? And furthermore, wouldn't an ever loving and all knowing God forgive the error in words and rather allow the heart to speak to Him?
And before you reply with, "well. Why wouldn't you just pray to Him directly".
For the same reason the Bible asks that we pray in communion, amongst others, with others and ask others to pray for us and intercede for us.
Is it Biblical to pray to a dead Saint? If it is in scripture okay, if not in the NT I will refrain.
Is a saint dead?
No, a Saint is not dead, he is with the Lord.
When you bow your head and pray to a Saint, is that not a form of worship?
No.

We need all the help we can get.
You are a good Roman Catholic. I hope it works out for you but I will stick to praying ONLY to my Lord and Savior without need of an intercessor!
