I worked in the mortgage business in the 1980s and 1990s, and it was a free-for-all just to get the mortgage-backed securities in place...and BOOM, the mortgage giants just BLEW UP IN THEIR SHORTS!!!!! ONLY thang is...it was JUST A SPUTTER...they are still doing the same thing now!!!!!!!
