The Danish claim on Greenland is purely colonial. Greenland is part of North America. I've been to Greenland, and the people are quite friendly. I hope that Greenland and the USA can make a mutually beneficial agreement, and the Danes and the EU can piss off.

I grew up there. They want sovereignty not a new master.

US track record in Greenland is not that glamorous.
