Searching the Welfare data-base may be too politically insensitve. Can you imagine? Although people receiving multiple payments would certainly require a second look.

Now, by checking "who is sending money to [list of countries]", via wire-transfer services - they can be tracked via the money being sent overseas, whether they admit to receiving welfare in the USA, or not, TBH.
But, it would be low-hanging fruit, for an ICE operation, by all means.

if they do it, they run the risk of flagging themselves. as criminals.
