My sweet summer child -- remember that the mainstream media garners its sustenance from generating news. They've convinced the Democratic sheeple that these criminals (and they are criminals having entered the country illegally) need to be "protected" from law enforcement.
Now any rational person knows that you don't get in the way of law enforcement while they are doing their job. But the news has convinced these simpletons that this is some kind of noble cause. I won't go into the psychology of what motivates these people to defy government officials -- but they will do so -- convincing themselves that they are somehow heroic.
Let me be blunt. The people who entered the country illegally are criminals. The people who interfere with law enforcement are also breaking the law. They are actually being treated far more gently than they could legally be treated. The one woman who died tried to use a car as a weapon and paid with her life. That was the result of her own choice.
There is one thing that I believe you have failed to grasp.
This is a law enforcement activity removing criminals.
Crossing the border illegally is a crime.
It doesn't matter what the liberals think. The law is the law.
Yes but being a citizen on your own property and/or going about your business is not a crime and the Government should not infringe on that!
If you are in the country illegally -- you are not a citizen.
And again, it doesn't matter where an illegal alien happens to be located when law enforcement decides to apprehend him/her. This isn't a board game where there are "free spaces" and a token can't be picked up!
The problem with liberals is that they have never learned the meaning of the word "no".
In this case, "no" -- these people can't cross our border illegally and be allowed to remain no matter where they are or what they happen to be doing.

Asking someone a question hardly qualifies as "harassment". You're projecting unnecessary drama on the situation.
Let me be perfectly frank with you. I'm going to tell you my opinion. Please be aware that it is my opinion and not necessarily that of everyone on this board.
Why does this situation with illegal aliens hold such interest for you? It's been my experience that people who get involved in "causes", do so because they consider themselves to be "good" people and desire an outlet for their empathy.
I don't have a problem with empathetic people or a desire to put that emotion to use. What I take issue with is where you chose to place that interest.
Two days ago, my daughter participated in saving a patient who coded. That man is alive today because of my daughter and the rest of the team who brought that patient back. This was a constructive use of empathy.
On the other hand, a woman objecting to the deportation of illegal aliens attempted to use her car as a weapon to run over a law enforcement agent and paid with her life. I am sure she thought she was being empathetic. Although how trying to kill someone translated to empathy in her mind escapes me.
I want you to spend the next 24 hours thinking about the two situations I have described.

I suggest, and I do this with sincere kindness -- that you find an outlet for your empathy which, will add constructively to the world. If not medicine, then work with the handicapped, homeless, or elderly. There are so many organizations with people who genuinely need empathetic people to lend a hand. Criminals entering the country illegally are not a worthy cause.
There have been plenty examples of citizens being harassed. ICE has attracted some bullies and they are making the whole program look bad.
If you examine the video you will see that the ICE officer's life was not in danger.

ICE is the most expected attack vector from the enemy whose survival depends on illegal immigrants. Trump's policy has always been to lure and entrap the enemy into attacking targets by painting them as weak or easy targets.
This seems to be exactly the case as well.

ICE is great and well trained. And the discipline is amazing. I am a very easy going person, but dealing with those bitches would make me want to draw and start dropping them.

You assume much. The officer involved was not a low level agent but is trained in all of the various different ICE disciplines. He was a member of ICE SRT for instance. He was also dragged by a driver six months ago for over 150 feet and received 33 stitches for his injuries. He knew where to stand. Karen’s should have stayed home.
I expect there will be some training regarding where to stand, when apprehending eejits behind the wheel.
The guy did not stand in front of the vehicle. Karen backed up and then turned her wheel and aimed for him. Vince on rumble had a good video and explanation of events. Crowder re-enacted the events. ICE agent had no way of knowing that she had turned the wheel until she hit the gas and moved toward him.

There are two sides to every story. We see exactly what the media shows us. What happened up to the point where the ICE agents became uncourteous and unprofessional? Put yourself in the shoes of an ICE agent. They’re going into enemy territory, risking life and limb, literally. How would you react if you were in a warzone?
