They don’t want to forgive because the grievance is part of their personality, and if the grievance was ever resolved, it would be like taking something away from them.
So for example, once Trump leaves Office, the people with the TDS are gonna struggle with their identity because they don’t have that grievance to latch onto and make part of their persona
