The issue with the J Crow's solution is Potassium Iodide.

I did take J Crow's Lugol's Solution at one time, but I switched over to The Healthy Life 4 Me Nascent Iodine. It is supposed to be maximum strength, and the ionic form is supposed to be more bioavailable to the human body.

I had read somewhere that Lugol's used to be stronger, but the government made them reduce the percentage of iodine. I don't know that that reduction is still in effect since you can now get it at 5%. When I was taking it I had only found the 2% solution.
