That's fair. At the least it is an accurate historical book. The fact that Enoch is the only other person other than Elijah to be taken into Heaven makes me think there is more importance to it. Plus Enoch is referred to by Jesus personnally in the Bible, gives it more weight IMHO.
You can get it with commentary and scripture references, i recommend that one.
Wikipedia (some here don't like that source) says that Enoch wrote the book before the flood, but it was put together in the current form about 300 - 200 BC. http://www.bookofenoch.org/age.htm
I've got to read that book. I consider it not the words of God but a historical rendering of the past.

I down loaded The Apocrypha which has that book.
That's when I downloaded the First Edition 1611 King James Bible. The word Jew does not show.
It's part of the Ethiopian Orthodox Bible.
What date would that book go back to?

I've got to go back and check. That's a long time ago but it could be possible.
Here's another weird one. When Jesus was Resurrected wasn't there also people rising from the dead walking around town?
I wonder what that was all about?
Thanks for the information my friend.
