The SCOTUS has ruled also that if police issue a lawful, clear dispersal order (with time, exit, and consequences stated), you generally must move to avoid arrest, as failure to disperse is illegal, but police must provide a real chance to comply; if they don't give a clear order or block exits (kettling), you can't comply and should assert rights calmly while recording, as they must give reasonable opportunity and clear paths.
