This will not be a popular opinion ...BUT...

If this is real and not AI -- it's looks like it's already too late to do anything about this situation. The window of opportunity to quell this before it erupted into a life threatening situation for the law enforcement officers has long since passed. At this point, sending in the military would only put their lives in danger as well. What would be the point? This whole thing was badly handled. They should just pull the law enforcement officers out of there for their safety and wait until the crowd gets bored and disperses. Then they can send ICE back in to resume activities. Right now it is too dangerous.

If they engage this crowd now -- I would not put it past foreign governments to use civil unrest as an opportunity to invade our country. Best to chill this situation out and then try again another time.
