Anyone who considered going to January 6, or many other not-left-wing protests from 2016 to 2024 was fully aware of the dangers involved (or should have been).
Some big differences are in grasps and control of:
Legal use of force / carrying of arms
When something is a setup / op / spin
Looking into the realities of what happened in a given situation and better judgement of the events
They [initially] had better film crews and still have the majority of OTA hype men for narrative disbursement
Interpretations of events through moral frameworks. It’s not possible to reconcile a moral outcome with a person who believes it’s a moral good to encourage ripping a 9 month old baby apart in its mother’s womb.
I wish we could figure out how to wake up the not-fully-evil of them.
observations my military mind is nagging me with . . .
both "martyrs" "Good and Pretti" were armed with dangerous weapons;
they were allowed to get cheek-by jowl with LE during legal operations;
not only to interfere with LE but to cause harm to them;
a woman so close to an officer such she has to be pushed away and fell on the ground is not "pushed to the ground"; pushing someone away is self-defense by non-lethal force; not even resorting to tear gas or other non-lethal methods; why did she want to get that close to LE?!?! hmmmm? She wasn't handing out cookies;
MN cops are not protecting the crowds nor LE, but allowing "protestors" to become rioters by not keeping them back; dereliction of duty; an open invitation to inevitable confrontation;
establishing a perimeter around LE to keep crowds away [for their own good!] does not require the insurrection act;
the commander on the ground has the authority to do this force protection, and if he does not have enough forces to to do, the federal government needs to provide them;
ICE lacks training?!? they are trained in their mission; should not have to be expected to do mob control;
why isn't the government protecting LE, with trained police and mob control?? Not saying who; US Marshals? military MPs? Just DO IT! Establish a perimeter, barricades, just DO IT! Need not interfere with surprise . . .
I don't think targeted arrests would advertise by barricading the area, however someone seems to be leaking the targets. Minneapolis wouldn't assist anyway.
My first rule of survival is: Avoid crowds.

It’s a very strange kind of LE operation. All this milling around. Looks more like two roving gangs facing off than anything remotely organized.
