Ooooh new data. This is somewhat unexpected though not outside of the realms of action from trump at this point. The fact Walz went to Trump is an interesting thought too. If Trump went to Walz and basically treated him with blackmail (possible) it would have played poorly for optics, but by Walz coming cap in hand it creates a much more magnanimous position for Trump.

This guy plays the optics war like it's a game of tictactoe, not the 5d chess it actually is.
