My nieces cousin who is in her late 40’s has Down Syndrome. Her mother died of cancer probably 10 years ago. This woman lives in England. She needed someone to be her caregiver so she wouldn’t face being euthanized. She is high functioning.
Wow. The husband says she told him she wanted to die so he jumps on the phone to the euthanasia team. She tells them she wants to live. Sorry, husband is on burnout, so you need to die now. I’m wondering who actually reported this story, since I doubt it would be told anyone by the husband or euthanizers…
