I think that's a narrow minded view, to be honest.
These asshats aren't going to give up quickly, nor will they go away quietly, as we are seeing in Minneapolis, Seattle, LA, NYC, NJ, etc.
The People have to do more than just vote for a certain candidate. We have to go out and show these idiots we won't be intimidated by them, that their actions are childish and immature, and that what they're doing won't be tolerated in our society any longer.
There's far too many people staying on the sidelines, not willing to take a stand. It's like their afraid of confrontation, worried about taking a day off from work, or worried they might get hurt or injured. This shows [them] and their followers that The People are afraid. It spurs them on to be even more active and violent.
This is a Catch 22 moment. Damned if we do confront these groups because it WILL lead to confrontation and most likely violence. Damned if we don't confront them because they will b come more outspoken and violent when left alone to do whatever they want in our towns and cities.
So, the way I see it, we might as well confront them and take the fight to them. Some of them are the true believers, so those are the ones that will get violent and possibly will fight to the death because they feel that they have nothig else to live for and therefore nothing else to lose. HOWEVER, we know that most of them are only doing this because they want to get an easy paycheck. They will break easily and will slink back to mommy and daddy's basements or back to their miserable Cheeto fed lives where they belong. Once that happens, mopping up the true believers will be relatively easier.
It will also have the added benefit of showing [them] that The People aren't intimidated by [their] bullshit any more. It'll trigger [them], but it will also force [them] to show [their] hands and force [them] to make decisions and plays [they] normally wouldn't make. This would ultimately help our trusted leaders and officials in the long run.
These groups hide behind the Constitution and U.S. Code, and especially the state and municipal laws of the far left leaning states and cities, manipulating them to their advantage because, as of right now, they correctly assume they won't be targeted by our various levels of govts for removal. We're never going to find a "smoking gun" type evidence trove linking them to their funders or linking them to a RICO type indictment or linking them to some grand overarching conspiracy. So, it's got our govts collective hands tied. That means The People MUST get involved. It means no one is coming to save us from their antics. Some groups may eventually end up going down and being legally shut down, but not most and definitely not all of them. It means that The People must take it upon themselves to do the heavy lifting we would normally let our LEOs do. People like Cam Higby, Date Republican, Nick Shirley, Mike Benz and others are doing great works, but we need people willing to meet these asshats on the steets, in our neighborhoods, and ultimately in THEIR NEIGHBORHOODS.
Otherwise, this shit will continue to escalate long term and won't go away.
You assume the left has power they no longer have. Public demonstrations against paid protesters is a waste of time. You cant pit true ideolgy against mercenaries. You are watching a show and when the money dries up amd it will, theyll all go home. In the mean time they are causi g the greatest changes we are seeing with their actions. The progress MAGA has made with the plan is astounding... change has happened and all with out the things you suggest.

Yup - Trump is forcing them to burn down their finances and wearing out their defense before going directly at them.
