About 40 years ago, a relative asked me if there were any supplements that might help her with arthritis in her hands; her doctor said there just wasn't any way to prevent it from getting worse and she should plan on having to quit her office job because her hands simply wouldn't be able to type and do other necessary things. He prescribed a (dangerous) painkiller, and that was all.
At the time, it was already well-known that Glucosamine/Chondroitin (they're often sold together in a single capsule), SAMe, and a few other things WERE HELPFUL -- often very much so -- to arthritis patients.
Were doctors IGNORANT of that, or simply callous towards their patients and wanting to keep the customer on the hook as long as possible?
In any case, my relative chose to use 800mg of SAMe daily and nothing else (I'd have used everything with evidence of efficacy, but that's me). Her hands were fine in a few months and have REMAINED fine ever since.
Now on to Dr. Makis' post:
There are two text-images of emails from the patient before the text below . . . at least in the email I rec'd as a subscriber; the actual Post at Makis' Sutstack ("Covid Intel") hasn't been update yet; it's just a title.

Thank you I’ll check this site out. I may not want to use the horses DSMO so I’ll look at that too. Funny to think how much my medicine cabinet looks like the dogs & horses these days.
They periodically run out of the capsules (they also sell powder), so be aware of that.
