He is right about feeding your soul with the Word of God and guarding your eyes and mind from evil. You have heard people say they can't unsee something. It will stick around in your mind for a while and if you allow it, evil can cause mental problems. Think of those in the military who have witnessed some bad things, and try to cope with it by drinking or using drugs. Yes, evil can destroy you. So take heed like the pastor is telling you. You don't have to read or see all the bad stuff to know it is there. But make sure you feed on God's Word, so you are not overwhelmed by the wickedness of this world.
It's why I refuse to even look at the files. My heart, mind, soul can't handle the crippling negative energy. Instead, I read my Bible, pray for the soles of the victims, meditate, and focus my energy on only the things that are within my control. I just don't need to read it to know it's bad or that it's not in alignment with my beliefs.
Hiding from this won't make it go away and you will have to absorb it. As the Good Book states, every secret thing will be made known. Trust in God to get you through, but you have to look. We all do. So we can work together as a unit when it comes to pushing back.
Nobody is required to look at it. Its not a civic duty. We already know the premise is true and we will support the findings of the poor bastards who are paid to view it in order to get justice. I worked child sex crimes investigations for awhile whennI was in LE. Never have I shared the vile shit i witnessed and I never will. It hurts me bad enough and i got many life sentences for those we prosecuted. I wanted the death penalty because i really would rest easier knowing theyre energy is gone. I wont be reading the epstein files either. The good book as you call it says "to keep thy heart with all diligence for out of it come all the issues of life" to keep means to guard and i recommend anyone wise enough does just that.
