She leaves out the actual why part of the failure. She just vaguely claims it was the internet..

No, it is because you are all a bunch of hacks, liars, activist, propagandists! If they had been actual journalists and reported factual news without injecting their personal interpretation, they'd be huge right now. Instead, the people had to find that with independents.
