There is nothing in the law that says they have to remain apolitical. They have a new "code of conduct" from 2023 but it doesn't mention political speech. Even if it did, the code has no enforcement mechanisms - no teeth.
Note - Sen Blackburn is running for Governor of Tennessee. Maybe she wants a boost from going after KBJ.
This is not true. Sure, it isnβt codified in law, but the Ethics rules that apply to judges absolutely bind them to neutrality via their oath.
Which is meaningless when dealing with these left wing ghouls. They have no honor and their words mean nothing. They could enforce ethics violations on these judges, but they wonβt.
But it is true. Justices aren't normal judges. Yes - they all started off taking the same oaths. Once they were appointed as justices things changed.
