Relevant to the spiritual war that has been playing out since the beginning of creation.
The space demons from Hell always remind of the old Doom PC game story/plot. Doom guy is figuratively a spaceage Crusader!
For more crazy Sam Neil, I highly recommend In the Mouth of Madness. Another creepy spiritual influenced demon possession movie.
