This is what we wanted. The release of all this horrifying information. And this is only the beginning, with much worse to come. So: How do we help those who cannot or will not accept it, but are clearly very upset by it?

I think this is the part we have talked about for so long: How do we help those who are struggling to accept what is being shown? Or who are only fighting it harder, with every new release?

I'm finding that just calmly and quietly stating the truth to them - in as few words as possible - seems to help the most:

"Yes, it's all true.

"You can see it all for yourself in the files.

"Yes, this is what I've been talking about for years. It's all true.

"No, Trump is not one of them. They wouldn't have this extremely vicious hatred for him if he was. They'd be working with him, not against him.

"Yes, it's horrible. Of course it's shocking. Every normal decent human is shocked. But it's worse for the victims and we can't help them if we turn away from it."

Don't expect them to respond. Just leave them to their thoughts and be available if they have any more to say about it.

What are the rest of you doing?

Nobody in my circle cared.. they don't even talk about it and just ignored it completey.. ook at them at the Superbowl cheering and getting all excited about it..completely under a spell!

I'd especially encourage all of us here to watch for those who seem to be oblivious and simply ignoring it all right now - but may be using that as a coping mechanism to keep it away.

The truth can break in later and that's when they will need you.

Remember the five stages of grief? Right now, a lot of people are going through the grief following the death of their worldview.

The stages are:

Denial. A lot of them are still here, even more so with so much of the truth coming out.

Anger. Expect this to be directed at you since you're the one who keeps saying it's all true.

Bargaining. "Yeah? Well Trump did the same things! Do you still support him now, too?"

Depression. They withdraw and won't talk to you at all. Keep in contact if you possibly can. Just take them with you to do some normal average things and do not talk about any of this, unless they bring it up. It can be a dangerous time.

Acceptance. That's where we are now. Tell the person that however bad this has been for you, it was far far worse for the victims. And now that you understand, you can help us help the victims.
