what i want you to think about as you read these headlines, is how they are trying very hard to convince you that “biological males” have no athletic advantage over “biological females”
any reasonable person would instantly know this headline is absurd. average males absolutely have an advantage over average women in most sports, and most world records are held by men
but what they slip in the body of the text is the caveat
WHEN THE BOY HAS BEEN TAKING PERFOMANCE DECREASING DRUGS FOR A WHILE
well, any man who is NOT taking performance enhansing drugs,
is absolutely NOT the same as that exact same man, while he is on performace enhancing drugs
and any trans identifying male who is NOT taking performance decreasing drugs,
Is absolutely NOT the same as that exact same male who is taking performance decreasing drugs
so bear that in mind, that in the headline they are implying ALL trans identifying males,
But in the body of the text, they admit that it is only a SUBSET of trans identifying males.
THIS IS DISHONEST
and this is the perfect example of their dishonesty.
not one single author made the distinction in the headline,
and every single author implied that ALL trans identifying males are at no advantage in sports.
this is good example of how they conflate words when they want to construct a narrative,
sex and gender is the best example.
Sex and gender mean the exact same thing (except when they don’t)

a good place to start to dismantle their movement is to critically examine the language, linguistics, framing the debate,
there are 2 “must see” videos, both by George Lakoff, Professor at Berkeley
In these videos, he explains how the human brain makes sense of the world through frames
And then he goes onto talk about how these frames can be manipulated to manipulate public opinion
In his lectures, he’s presenting the material as if “the right wing” are somehow masters of language and the abuse of language and twisting the meanings of things
And so he goes onto advocate for certain kinds of changes in the way people use words and phrases and frames
And of course, because he’s a left-leaning person he’s advocating this to left-leaning people
And he’s been listened to by millions of left-leaning people, who take his advice
So if we don’t really understand what these people are doing, we’re kind of helpless to do any kind of pushback against it
