It always bothered me how they would point at the armored trucks with the white guys sitting in them as a symbol of oppression in SA. No one looked closely or wanted to, the were set high of the ground with a v shaped hull, protection meant to mitigate the blast from a mine, so there was danger. No mounted heavy weapons such as machineguns, just one guy most of the time keeping an eye on things with a single shotgun. This indicates to me that even if they were attacked their intent was non-lethal force with something like bird shot, certainly not like an FNFAL that was a .308 NATO. The truth is always in the details.
