I have already said I wouldn't be surprised. So I don't feel the need to go down that particular rabbit hole. It's not like my contempt for the Royal family could get much lower at this point.
But you never said exactly how Andrew was being sacrificed. What horrible things have happened to him over this? He got his Prince title taken away and was shipped off to one of the most extravagant private estates in the world to sit in time out.
Do you really see that as some huge punishment? Do you think he is being unfairly treated somehow?
Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if Charles was an even worse pedophile than Andrew.
But your continued arguments that Andrew is being sacrificed and thrown under the bus in order for Charles to get away free and clear gives the impression that A) Andrew is actually innocent and not guilty of being a pedophile and is being unfairly treated and B) he's actually being punished in some meaningful way.
I'm sure that's not what you're trying to say, but that's the impression you'll give someone that isn't giving you the benefit of the doubt here.
No, Andrew isn't innocent at all. He should go to trial, but as a blood royal that's not going to happen.
"Sacrificed" means he's lost his titles and is technically no longer part of the royal family. That's unheard of for the son of a reigning queen and the brother of the current monarch. Yet they still "sacrificed" him by yanking his titles (which mean everything to these people and to the public) and basically exiling him from the royal world. Last I heard they wanted him out of the UK as well.
That may not mean much to Americans but it's a very big deal in the UK. Andrew has lost everything that was important in his life and is lower than mud in the eyes of the public.
He's bad. Charles is worse. So Andrew was the one chosen to take the heat, get accused of everything, lose his titles, lose his family, and lose his home in his own country.
He is being thrown under the bus and made to take the punishment so that the public will think, "See? Charles has removed his own brother from the royal family over accusations of pedophilia. No way Charles would be involved in it himself! What a good guy Charles is!"
And it's working.
That's what I mean by "sacrificed." Because he's being "killed" to protect his brother.
Andrew’s own great grand-uncle, Edward VIII, was forced to give up the throne, stripped of real power, downgraded to Duke of Windsor, and effectively exiled from the country for the rest of his life, all over marrying a divorced woman.
That was the consequence for a marriage.
Andrew lost working royal status after documented Epstein ties and a civil settlement over sexual abuse allegations. If anything, precedent shows the monarchy has imposed harsher consequences for far less. This isn’t some mystical “sacrifice.” It’s damage control.
Well, that and the whole "He's a pedophile" thing...
I wouldn't be surprised if Charles was an even bigger pedophile. Andrew was just stupid enough to get caught.
Do a search on "Prince Charles + Jimmy Savile" to see a little of what Charles really is.
Andrew is being thrown under the bus so that Charles can say, "See? I'm taking care of it," and then everyone will look at Andrew and not Charles.

“Unheard of”?
