Sadly, I think there is a good chance that Erika may not be fully aware of herself. Most likely she was groomed, programmed and mind split from an early age to be an attractive control tool. Just do a not so deep dig into her family connections and history - there are red flags. Charlie was smitten, but if my hunch is correct, he obviously could not be controlled by her and her handlers, so he had to be sacrificed. A lot of Erika's behavior is dodgy, yet I don't think she is wholly responsible for her odd actions prior to and after CK's death. Just my thoughts.
