I pray our children’s children tell stories of this time like they are talking about monsters under the bed- because they are so safe they can’t imagine a time when children were not safe from the horrors in those rabbit holes. I also pray they teach in history that it happened and how regular people came to together to stop it and how to have critical thinking and self assurance enough to say never EVER again. I hope young adults get deep dives on how bad it was and how it was almost worse and will be again if they don’t stand watch.To the littles of tomorrow may this fight be a myth and to the older children a warning and to the young men and women a challenge. Never Again once this fight is won. NCSWIC because there can’t be another option.
