The Comet Cometh
This anon wrote the post about the comet, and it caused a huge amount of interest, you tube vids etc, but now the bloke who was a specialist in finding comets has been shot and killed.
Second Trumpet:
Rev.8:8 Then the second angel sounded: And something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood. 9 And a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.
This is NOT A COINCIDENCE
Looks like he found the comet, and was killed to keep it quiet.
Carl Grillmair, 67, was shot in his torso by a man who approached him on his porch.
Carl Grillmair was a Caltech astrophysicist at the Infrared Processing and Analysis Center, specializing in galactic astronomy, dark matter, stellar streams, galactic structure, and exoplanets.
At the time of his death, Grillmair had been researching comets and asteroids that could potentially pose a threat to Earth.
The image of a mountain cast down in fiery judgment is not new. In Jeremiah 51:25, Babylon is called a “destroying mountain” that God promises to burn and roll down.
In prophetic language:
Mountains often symbolize kingdoms or powers.
Fire signifies divine judgment.
So in the traditional interpretation, the “burning mountain” represents a judged covenantal or political power, not a literal volcanic asteroid.
Revelation 8 is not the end of history. It is the end of an order. The old covenant mountain is set ablaze and cast down.
Revelation 8:8–9: Is symbolic, not astrophysical
Draws from Old Testament prophetic language
Describes covenantal and historical judgment
Likely finds major fulfillment in first century events (like the destruction of Jerusalem by Rome in 70AD)
Serves the larger theme of Christ conquering through history
In short, the burning mountain is not a space rock. It is a kingdom under judgment.
