Thanks. I used to be in a cycle of Flexeril/Motrin for my neck and back - until it got too bad. Then my doc would give me the hydrocodone/vicodin at the lowest dose. I'd take it for a day or 2 and it usually took the edge off of whatever caused the pain, although a few times it took almost a full week. Then I'd rinse and repeat. It always worked, and then I'd be good for a month or so until the pain got too bad again.
It doesn't surprise me that "stuff" is being put into any opioids since they want people off of them - yet they know they work.
I'm interested to see what the VA does for me now that I have VA healthcare. I haven't yet seen a primary care doctor in person since I just recently hit the magic disability percentage that got me kicked off the healthcare exchange and put into the VA. Hopefully they don't just throw pills at it.
