This is what I always say to anyone that thinks that we are alone in the universe.
Go out to the country on a cloudless moonless night to avoid the light pollution of the city. Lie on your back and gaze into the sky for a couple of hours.
While you are doing this, think about how long what you are looking at has been in existence. Then tell me that you are convinced that this is the only place in the universe where intelligent life exists.
P.S. try to ignore the anomalies that you will almost invariably see if you do this long enough.

Im beginning to think not much intelligent life exist at all. Espescially here on earth. So truthfully its rarer than we think not more abundant.
