The State of Union speech offers excellent campaign commercial material for Republicans.
Trump: "I ask every member of Congress to stand if you agreed with the statement: "The first duty of the American government is to protect American citizens, not illegal aliens."
Democrats: All sitting. Refused to stand.
Republican commercial: "This Democrat doesn't believe that the American government should protect American citizens. 🙄 See her sit? Why vote for someone who won't protect you?"
There was a LOT of campaign candy in this speech.
