All good points. Plus we're called to think outside the box, think strategically and to develop a sense of the current control mechanisms that are in place. Also, there's sort of "sixth sense" with some of the psyops or, as I call them, "red flags". When something feels "off" - perhaps one's inner discernment recognizing an anomaly before the "present mind" can delve into what's not adding up.

Pretty sure God wants us to use the powers of discernment He's blessed us with. Instinct is powerful, yes, and shouldn't be ignored or superceded, but I'll stick to using the brain the Lord gave me to develop my wisdom as well.

Instincts are trusting that the correct skills / responses have been assimilated.
